Hi! My name is Amanda. I’m a wife of 18 years to my amazing husband, Zachary. I’m also a mom to 8 wild and crazy kiddos: Nick, Eli, Beka, Leah, Asher, Jacob, Shiloh, and Bethany. We have babies through teenagers and we love it! Bethany is a 26 week micro preemie who defied all the odds.

We’ve recently moved from Connecticut to Montana and are currently full-time rv living as we find our forever home. We moved to be the hands and feet of Jesus and He is not disappointing! He brought us to a church that is none for being more like a hospital than anything with the way they help the community, taking in the most needy and desperate of souls. It’s beautiful and quite frankly an honor that He choose to move us 2000 miles to be the backup they have been praying for.

I’m also the owner and designer of Knit in the Womb Designs. My little knitting and pattern shop was started in 2010 as an etsy shop to sell my knitted goodies and has grown so much over the years. I’ve closed that etsy as of 2022 and am 100% focused on designing which is where my heart truly lies.

My designs were originally all photo props. But after I nearly died in 2021 while pregnant with my 8th baby (my micro preemie), I decided life is too short and too precious to not go for my dreams. It was 2022 that I picked up designing every day knits as I have always dreamed. I ditched the fear and jumped into it with both feet and will never look back. Sharing with you all these designs I’ve had floating around in my head for so long is truly the most freeing thing I have ever done. I am honored and blessed to share my creations for you.
