I love these patterns, and some of them look easy enough that I can knit them without cursing! If all goes well I plan to knit a variety of them in a variety of colors to be ready for all the grandchildren I anticipate!
I love to hear that. Thank you! I hope you have many grandbabies to knit for someday.
Have first short September sock done and on the heel f the second one.
Scarf next. and a whole bucket list I am hoping to get to.
I knit hats for the Rescue Mission, usually beanie style but will put in some bonnets for the small children that are always in need.
Love your patterns
Blessings
Aw, I love that! It’s so generous to give your time to warm other people. ❤️
Hi, Amanda. I love all your bonnets and am currently working on the Asher Bonnet using Knit Picks Comfy fingering weight. I don’t know what to do with the opening (5 inches) when you start knitting in the round. I know how to make I-cord and my stitches are provisionally caston. It’s just the opening that has me confused. Please help. I already made the matching blanket and intended both to be a gift.
It seems like you’re asking how to join in the round after already working a length of knitting flat? If that is the question, you get to the end of a right side row, place all your stitches on dpn and join in the round as you would if you cast on a beanie. Just treat them like cast on stitches. If that is not what you’re asking please correct me if I’m wrong.
I am looking for a tutorial to connect the I-cord to the bonnet. I have yet to find clear instructions :/ on your Wheat Bonnet pattern it states that there will be a tutorial at the end of the pattern but I’m not finding one. Can you share a link to the tutorial? Thank you!
I am so sorry. I guess I didn’t add that link in. THis is a youtube tutorial I made for it. Now, I am left handed so it is a leftie tutorial: https://youtu.be/3li-QWHn8B0?si=2hLbV8e2ww85LHfP Here is a right handed tutorial that I found quite helpful as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0XEK1g0U6c
Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful bonnet patterns!! I’ve enjoyed knitting a few for my grandkids. There are two that don’t have the correct link though. The Jordan bonnet and the I-cord bonnet. I hope you are able to fix the links because I’d really like to these as well.
I fixed those. Thank you for letting me know I had added the wrong ones.
